Summer Vacation to London!!!

This past week Melody and I were able to take a trip to London for our vacation, it was so much fun! We stayed at the Tower London Hotel with a view of the bridge from the room. I have to admit, before we went there, I thought this was the London Bridge from the song!!!

We did so many activities during the week, it was very tiring! But we loved being together and sight seeing. We both enjoy history and architecture, the design of the old buildings was incredible! We saw so many buildings that were built before our country was even founded, its hard to believe they were still standing. Here is a list of things we did:

• Walking tour of downtown London- Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St James Park, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Kensington, Notting Hill

• Bus tour to Windsor Castle with tour

• Stonehenge

• Bath (Roman Bath)- Pulteney Bridge, Royal Crescent and The Circus, Town Square and shopping, Bath Abbey

• Bus Tour of London, London Victoria and Albert Museum, St Paul Cathedral

• High Speed Train to Paris!- Eiffel Tower tour with lunch, boat tour of downtown, walking tour of villages and shopping

• Tour of Tower of London Castle

• White Cliffs of Dover tour, Dover Castle tour

• Walking tour of Canterbury- Butter Market Square, Canterbury Castle, The River Stour, lots of shopping and cafe's

I love my wife! And I am so grateful for the time we had to spend together in England. She is my best friend and we always have fun together no matter what we do. But I am also grateful to be back with her in our home, back in Gods land!
